Criminal Litigation Mentorship Program for Law Students
Overview
The Criminal Litigation Mentorship Program is designed to support law students from underprivileged backgrounds, enrolled in the University of Calcutta. This is a 3 years residential program, with a capacity of 30 students, focuses on practical training in criminal law.
The program's goal is to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical experience in criminal litigation. By providing mentorship and training, it prepares students to excel in the legal profession, especially in criminal law.
This initiative targets law students from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds. These students often face significant barriers in accessing quality legal education and mentorship, which the program seeks to alleviate.
The Criminal Litigation Mentorship Program empowers underprivileged law students to succeed in criminal litigation. This Program will directly support their journey, fostering a new generation of skilled legal professionals committed to justice and equity.
